Jabs before Christmas

The world’s first lab-grown meat will go on sale in Singapore after being approved by regulators. The “chicken bites” are produced in a bioreactor, with no real birds in sight. Dozens of firms are working on similar products, with the aim of making cleaner, drug-free and cruelty-free meat that has less of an impact on the environment.
