People are buying homes again, bringing the number of sales in England back to normal pre-lockdown levels. Zoopla data also shows that London sales are lagging, with more people searching for homes out of the cities now that the daily commute may be a thing of the past.

Black Lives Matter UK (BLMUK) has received over £750,000 in donations since launching a fundraising drive last week. Related organisations, such as those helping black people with their mental health, have also seen an influx of cash, taking the total to £1 million.

All shops in England have been given the green light to open their doors on Monday, as long as they can put social distancing measures in place. In Northern Ireland the date is set for Friday. The government is hoping the promise of retail therapy will see high streets spring back to life, despite pubs, bars, and restaurants staying shut until 4th July.
L’Oreal has re-hired model Munroe Bergdorf, three years after dropping her for her comments on racism. Bergdorf called the beauty brand out on social media for publicly supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, and the brand’s new president has now apologised for the way she was treated in 2017.
