Green finance

Amsterdam and Zurich have overtaken London as the top cities for green investment. The City of London think tank ranks 74 world cities for their investment in sustainable development - London’s been on top for the quality of its green finance for the past 2 years. The amount raised in green bonds on the London Stock Exchange has surged from £8bn in 2017 to £22.4bn this year.

Mobile networks will soon be banned from selling phones locked to their own network. From December 2021, devices will have to be sold unlocked - meaning they work on any network.
